In spite of what the daily day bring to our lives …

Or the different stages that we face … in life !! we recognize that God and only He can help us through each of these seasons..

 In spite of the circumstances  … God promises us that He has good thoughts of peace and hope.

 Tony & Rosse these last two months have faced different stages and  circumstances … but one thing that we have embraced is this promise that our father has better things for his  children …! There is no better place that in his  hands,

….but sometimes we do not understand ….BUT!!  He knows better than us! 🙂

SHARING – SKATE MINISTRY:

During these months we have been receiving teams from different places in our 2014 SUMMER TEAMS, here in  YWAM San Jose. Many of these teams come together and share with our ministry with children and communities. We are blessed in our SKATE CLUBS, seeing  the kids feel loved and getting more truth about the love of God in their lives, and as with the simple fact of people coming and sharing with them: “God has thoughts of peace and hope for their lives … “

Teaching  Discipleship in Schools!

 Tony & Rosse have  being part of the teachings in our  Discipleship schools in this  recent months, teaching topics such as Spiritual Warfare, Walking in Faith and Obedience in Jesus .. We are very excited about this new opportunity we have enjoyed so much … teaching and sharing with students from different schools .. is always so rewarding for our lives and marriage, being part of the transforming work of Jesus and His Word in the every day of students who comes to our base.

MERCY MINISTRY

One of the ministry of YWAM San Jose, is MERCY TRUCKS, Our medical and dental ministry they converted an ambulance into a mobile medical and dental unit. This ministry is  able to Realize the vision of empowering the hurting With Hope and healing. Medical Ministry is the “hands and feet” of making God Known, Bringing much needed humanitarian aid to villages and declaring the Good News in word and deed, are just some of the ways in Which helping hands are extended.

 This last months Tony has-been joining the Medical teams, driving the ambulance and serving  during outreach.

 

New Beginnings !! Familia….. 🙂 🙂 !!!

Luis, Rosse’s younger brother, ….is now in California, preparing for his wedding in August, we are super-excited to see the faithfulness of God working in our families, Luis had done his DTS in 2011 and continued after serving God by serving different ministries in Guanacaste. In one of these he met his future wife, and now they ‘re preparing to serve the lord together!!!

Tony’s Brother and his wife, are leaving to South Africa this week ….! They are leaving for 3 years, to serve in South Africa, With the desire of reaching out children at risk! Both of them have a passion for children and Have lot’s of gifts for reach out this generation. We Believe That God would use them to extend His Kingdom in the nations and give glory to Him!

 Really with mixed feelings, to see our brothers go … but super excited to see God’s plan fulfilled in them! We know that God will do great things! Thank God for our families, because they have been a fundamental part for us to continue serving God by serving as Missionaries ..!!

We are very excited to see what God has in store for the rest of the  year!

Many plans and projects, but more over them… we  want to complete what God have in our lives.

We are dreaming  with all that God is already doing in Liberia, and we are working on the continued development of ministries, relationships with local churches, teaching English, influence with local government and sporting organizations … to extend the Kingdom of God in Liberia.!!!

Thanks to all of you, that keep praying for us, for all of you who keep us with words of encouragement, who have been there for us, really   this video shows how  a normal day look like for us, where we open our hearts and shows who we really are … sharing love with this kids… giving them hope in Christ, presenting a life style of Jesus, and how much He cares for them. This is why we do… what we do…  no matter the obstacles, difficulties, times of discouragement, God is our reason , and without him, we could not do what we do.. He is the ONE!!!

This last weekend We had the opportunity to travel to panama, for the  celebration of 20th anniversary of YWAM Panama. Along with our  Ywam director, Giacomo Coghi and two of his children, began our trip on Thursday night with a 7 hour trip on the road, spend the night at the border of Panama, and crossed early on Friday, we finally got to the new YWAM chiriqui property, about 2 hours from the border. A  beautiful place in the mountains of Boquete, we got ready to listen and celebrate the many great things God is doing ​​. As expected this celebration was full of diverse nations and cultures, one of the things that highlighted in this celebration,

It was to see the presence of so many different indigenous ethnic groups  gathered, praising the Lord  in the same place . Many of them are parts of  discipleship schools, leadership training  for the purpose of returning to their tribes and extend the kingdom of God among their own
people….

Listening to the story of these heroes of faith, who 20 years ago took the challenge, listened to God and obeyed … without thinking about the implications 20 years later, Richard & Debbi Tracy, who gave everything, for the service of God in Panama. Today their childrens still  are serving the lord, and with them the next generation. Seeing at the multiplication in the work of discipleship, seeing how many  Indigenous have known Jesus, and  walked into a destiny with purpose, redemption and hope … and to see how that legacy that this couple has sown  , listening to the many testimonies…. and stories on how they start…..  made ​​Tony & I  feel really encouraged to know that the work we’re doing is not in  vain !!! that it is worth it… it is about PEOPLE FINDING GOD!!! It is about  bringing God’s kingdom… in any time… is to be a example of his Love. and his Principles.. in the daily basics… … It is about ” giving up” Your PLANS, and trusting God for his better ways… and how HE IS the one who invite us to be part and rejoice in his perfect will..

Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, And have made us kings and priests to our God;
And we shall reign on the earth.”
 Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands,  saying with a loud voice:

“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
To receive power and riches and wisdom,
And strength and honor and glory and blessing!”

A story ….

Rafael is one of the mens who have challenged me  the most  … a man who does not seek to be recognized … who loves God, and is fighting for his people .. to the presence of God and be free from generational culture and beliefs. Rafael is a pastor, he met YWAM, through the work of YWAM panama, did his DTS, and back to make known God in the midst of mountains, places very far apart for God’s sake… Now  is one the Brave people in God’s hands, one those who see the promise land.. and is willing do to everything to lead his people to his promise land.

…. Now Rafael has helping to plant 12 indigenous churches in differents communities…  walking distance …4 – 5 hours everytime in the jungle of Panama.. . He so humble but soooooo fill of God Joy and love…. to see the love of God moving trought the mountains of Panama. He inspire us A lot!.. Hearing his testimonies, his cry for his own people…  asking  us to pray for him as he continues doing God’s work, without any help, financial,  with his family… I just have not words…

I Invite you to remeber Rafael, and all those that we haven’t met.. but their are up there somewhere in the jungle of Panama.. sharing the truth of God … to those who haven’t heard….

This time in Panama,  hearing about Rafael’s journey …  was a time  of great revelation and impartation.

…. And this question was released……. in 20 years … where do  you see  yourself… your dreams that God has put in you ..

.. but when you return back to the present … those plans or dreams just disappear….

What are those changes, adjustments and decisions we make in our present in order for those dreams of God in your life be fullfil from today  in 20 years…

Wow … really for us … that expression weighs much more commitment, dedication, sacrifice, faith and increased openness to grow 100% in servant leadership…  We had Just Started!!!!! 🙂

Today we want to encourage and invite you to walk backwards to the future … … trusting God who holds our lives in his hands .. who orders the universe … and the world … who cares for us .. and his passion until   the great Commission is completed …. Our times are in his hands …. to wait 20 years … and finally say ok God! Now yes ! here I’m send me ! Returned today …. to your present and start making the right changes … to  complete the mission that God has placed in your life … in your heart … Come back to the today! and resurrect those dreams …. 🙂

Dear friends!!!

We are ready for this new adventure with God, this new year, full of anticipation for more of his presence and revelation in our lives and families. Thanks for being there .. for supporting us, loving us and affirm our lives .. in this effort to extend the kingdom of God.
As January – February ended and a new one begins, we want to keep you in tune with what we’ve been doing, as far as we are growing …and some new doors for ministries!

  Skate Ministry!!

  In this couples months , we’re reconnecting with different skate clubs , after the holidays. New kids joining the skate clubs really excited!!!.

  Tres Rios, Enttebe :
One of the things we wanted to teach  the kids is knowing that God blesses us and wants the best for us … but he want us to do our part , A  good friend Ricardo Argudo , felt to donate a riel  to the small set of ramps that  they have, the Kids from this location are getting step by step  Seeing God Being Real to their lifes …. this fills our hearts  😀 … Maikol , our core leader is growing a lot, trusting more in himself  … and see a .. new inflcuence God is giving him in the middle of his community. Maikol is starting the process of getting his passport as well, playing for the opportunity to travel to Canada in August as well  with Jimmy and others from the Skate Clubs..

La Carpio:

New Door has been opened!! As our presence within the skate clubs is seen in this community, we recognize that more is the number of skateboarders who attend our clubs .. for this reason, we had been praying that God would provide a place, bigger and safe to keep developing our clubs , in February, God opened the doors, of networking with “Nuevos Horizontes” organization, which provides opportunities for study and training for youth’s in Carpio.

Now, the kids, enjoy a better place … to skate.. and we are really excited to partner with nuevos Horizontes…

We’re very excited, to be part of God’s intentions in the skate community. The Urban skate group, which one  we are part of it, is a great opportunity to work together and create new networks. We are getting ready to be part of a massive event in March, through the organization of Luis Palau festivals. And we are ask to have the presence of skateboarding  and also the Medical ministry ” Mercy TRucks” would be in this festival.  As part of this event,  our Ywam Base, get involve… the past weekend, the DTS school with staff from our base… did a huge effort with the local Church of Turrialba… and give away 200 bibles…

Ywam San Jose!!

Summer has arrived! Full of passion to see the Kingdom of God  establish to needy communities in Costa Rica. These months, the Ministry of Homes of Hope, YWAM san jose, has been full of  Missionaries teams, who have decided to join the project to build physical and spiritual homes … to very needy families. These first weeks  this ministry team build the first house made ​​of esteriofon (first in Costa Rica) with this type of material .

Praise the Lord… how  He is the one that lead us to be a blessing for others!! We invite you to pray as we keep working to facilite and serve all this summer Teams that are getting ready to come and build more houses.. so that God’s love and truth can be preach in each of this families…  and see a whole communities been transformed!!!

We just celebrate recently our second wedding anniversary!!!! Truly loved for sooo many people… during this past 2 years… we feel so Bless, for each of you!!! So  excited for what’s to come for our family and Ministry!!

To God be the Glory… He is the one who keep us in unity, love and guide us troughout  this Journey called: Marriage!!!

Well!!!  Where to start .. our hearts are full of gratitude to our heavenly Father, for his faithfulness and goodness for us and our families during this year. We can not believe we are already in December, but it is a good time to share some moments that stand out for tony & Rosse in this 2013!!

Some Highlights:

Earlier this year, Tony & Rosse took a big step of faith and move into a new house, outside of the YWAM base. Truly a blessing,  to have our own space and develop our culture as a family!

ReVoLution Skate Ministry:

Throughout this year the Skate Ministry has grown both, creating networks between different organization, churches and  also the influence on local government of our country. The support and credibility that we have received right through the Committee de patinetas , name used for our ministry in Costa Rica.  We have 3 differents skate clubs,  two that we are leading  and one that we support.  Community development taking place, as we are not only investing in kids, but their families as well, and how we are impacting communities through the sport of skateboarding. This last quarter we started English classes with the mom’s. 

Trip To Israel:

A gift from God, a time that left a mark in our lives forever, an new open door to new revelation and God’s call for our marriage, this time certainly was a milestone for us.

Part of our trip was because of  the DTS (discipleship trainning school) , school  that we   lead,  such a great  time  and students .

Ywam SAN JOSE:  One word? …. FAMILY, this year,  We have seen God’s intentions taking place… from seeing more Bibles being distributed around Costa Rica, Ministries  that are fully committed to reach out the broken, and bring hope to those who have lost it. Times of transition and growth, but one thing has remained…. is willing to make known the only one who deserves all the glory: JESUS.

….and the list can go on, but we recognize that it was not just a good year, but has been a time to grow, & learn and appreciate all those who are part of what we do.Thanks for your continued support. Today, we count as one of our blessings, to see Samuel grow, healthy and happy, and step by step  become part of the calling God has given us.

As this year ends, we invite you to consider supporting us in this new year 2014, by giving “one time gift” or “montly”, our monthly budget is  around $1200,we still need to raise up our income.

We recognize that God is and will remain faithful, but as we are walking in faith, we recognize our financial needs for our family (tony & Rosse are trusting God to grow in numbers 🙂 a baby) as well as our ministry.

Our hearts are so grateful for friends and supporters, who stand with us in prayer and giving. Your partnership, friendship and prayers are making a difference in all that the Lord is doing here in Costa Rica and the nations!

We not only acknowledge the love, trust and friendship of many, but we recognize that without the body of Christ we would not be able to do what God has called us to do. We do not have the strength and resources… but in Christ we have everything we need. In the midst of our everyday life: at the Ywam base , doing our jobs … , In the ministry of Skateboards on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with each Kid …. is easy to just follow in the ” GO-GO” .. But we are truly bless to have people around the world… that are partnering with us!!!

Today we have many reasons why we thank God … but today we raise a prayer for you!!

….a thought to ponder:

We live in a loud world.  To get someone’s attention is no easy task. But when someone’s willing to silence everything else so he can hear us clearly, it’s a privilege.  A rare privilege indeed!  You can talk to God because God listens.  Your voice matters in heaven.  He takes you very seriously.  No need to fear that you’ll be ignored. Even if you stammer or stumble, even if what you have to say impresses no one, it impresses God—and He listens. Intently.  Carefully.  Your prayer on earth activates God’s power in heaven, and Scripture says, “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”  (Matthew 6:10)

Your prayers are honored as precious jewels. You may not understand the mystery of prayer. You don’t need to. But this much is clear:  Actions in heaven begin when someone prays on earth.

This past week,  our discipleship school  (DTS) began, our teaching was about hearing the voice of God. Our seven students were deepening .. into the word of God,  receiving revelation about the precious  art as children of God of  hear his voice every day. There is nothing more exciting in our walk with the Lord, that  invite Him in every area of our lives right through prayer. We had two activities this week were we ask them to look for a spiritual application, a silent retreat, intentional time to find that place of stillness with God … and a high ropes course … in the midst of nature .. at the top of the trees with toucans and monkeys … the perfect scene to hear God say, just trust ….!!!

This reminded us that sometimes we forget that God wants to communicate his intentions … Every day, he draws our attention …he  is creative without repeating his intentions … a sunrise, the singing of the birds, a sunset, a situation, your favorite food … Wow!!!!! … God loves details … the point here is that we are so BUSY  in our daily lives that we unnoticed those details … the question is … if you are looking at those details in your life and hearing what God is saying to you???

Skate Ministry! This week we continue being part of the skate church in La Carpio. The DTS from Denver, USA, were with us doing an event for the kids and sharing testimonies and the  love of God through the skate…

 

 

Family Time!!! So grateful for Family and Friends… God is Good!! He knows our heart’s … How much we felt refresh and renew when we can have some family Time… This past couple weeks we went back to Liberia, and had a amazing time…

This  is a time when we  can say God is faithful … He takes your dreams and skills.. and begins to co-create with you …. The skateboard  in our country … is raising  up a big influence,  that goes beyond..  one that only Jesus can give!!!

It is very exciting to see how the pieces are finally getting together. These last two months have been a time to believe and cling to the call that  God has given us to be an influence on the sport of skateboarding, through different events, skate clubs and building relationships with different organizations ….
One thing that was very cool  is that three weeks ago a church  in La Carpio (poor community in San Jose) which we have been involve and creating skate clubs on the streets, visiting this kids and sharing God love to them , surprisingly this church open the doors for once a week, we can come with this kids to have a  skate church, around 40 kids come every Tuesday to roll their skateboards and listen to the word of God …we believe God has called us to serve each of these kids … without expecting anything from them … only see their lives being transformed by God  love and Skate .
